A Tale of Two Cities
At the Theatre Royal, Brighton we recently worked on the
Broadway musical version of 'A Tale of Two Cities' which was
recorded for the American PBS network. There was a 50 piece band,
30 singers, and according to Adam Klinck (senior vision engineer)
"A world record number of monitors out on stage and around the
auditorium." Audio was equally complicated, the digital audio desk
used every single input and output, every matrix send and return,
all the auxes and all 256 madi in/outs and pretty much every fader
on A and B levels! As Ross Banks (Audio Guarantee) put it "at least
we know the desk works".
