National Assembly for Wales to be televised by Bow Tie Television

Bow Tie television is delighted to announce that it has been
awarded the contract for the provision of Broadcast
Operation and Maintenance Services to the National Assembly for
Wales in collaboration with Telesgop
Cyf.
Bow Tie Television is an independent broadcast
and audio-visual facilities company, which provides staff,
resources and expertise to a wide range of clients in both the
private and the public sectors.
As the most experienced Parliamentary and Assembly
televising company in the UK, Bow Tie Television has
televised the UK Parliament for the past nine
years and the Greater London Authority since 2006.
Bow Tie Television was also chosen by the Cabinet
Office to provide coverage of the Iraq
Inquiry in London.
Bow Tie Television's contract with the National Assembly
for Wales will begin from 2nd August 2010.
Bow Tie television has entered into
collaboration with Telesgop, a successful TV
production company based in Swansea, who have completed several
commissions for the Welsh Assembly Government. Bow Tie
television will maintain an office in the
Telesgop headquarters, which will give access to
local producers, directors, editors and camera operators, along
with an established web design team.
Managing Director John Knopp said: "This is a
great opportunity for us to offer the Assembly a new and
invigorated approach to the management of the contract,
whilst providing improved, engaging coverage of
the Assembly's proceedings".

staff and freelancers who wish to continue working for us on this
contract. We intend to refresh, improve and grow
the broadcasting and webcasting service to The National Assembly
for Wales."
